Your work is enchanting, gorgeous, and inspirational. I found your site when I was reading Faery Craft by Emily Carding and am grateful to have found you. You are very special and gifted. Thank you for sharing the wonders of your world.
With motivation, courage, creativity and love,
I love your blog.. very nice colors & theme. Did you design this website
yourself or did you hire someone to do it
for you? Plz respond as I’m looking to create my own blog and would like to
know where u got this from. thanks
Just discovered your website and your intriguing creations through Fae Magazine’s newsletter. Your Faybles elicit so many emotions. I write about and promote the world of faerie on my website and am constantly trying to debunk the canned idea that all fairies are the same, look the same. I’m always encountering those who proclaim all fairies look like Cicely Mary Barker fairies, love bread and milk, etc., etc. This stereotype is hard to overcome. So, I’m always thrilled to find someone who not only envisions them differently, but creates something visual that others can relate to. You are truly gifted.
I first met two of these beautiful creatures at The Gathering, see the I love Charlie Bears face bookgroup for more detail. I’m not sure of their names but my mum’s reaction was “Oh they’re so ugly they’re cute”. I decided I wanted to see more and now I think I’m in love!! my partner, Don, was stunned. Now to start saving so that I can adopt one or two. to who ever the lady at the gathering is Thank you for the introduction and to Armorel thank you for sharing these wonderful creatures.

I met you years ago when you had made a giant toad for one of EJ’s films…we talked about wings, but I had no idea you were the creator of these utter beauties. Saw you in Glastonbury. I admired your amazing dolls and you gave me your card, saying, ”Look at my website.” Well I did and I am bowled over with your talent and insight. You have inspired me to go down a similar path with my art and design. You are a true inspiration to any fairy follower.
I love these little friends – nearly as much as I love my ‘Blue’ who sits on the unit in the bedroom looking out of the window at the sheep – she says ‘Hi’ to you and the girls and hopes to see you soon.
Wonderful website Ami – very talented lady, who deservs the best.
Luv alison & Mike x
I am sitting with Sprout right now he’s helping me to type this. In June whilst on holiday in Dorset my husband and I took a trip to Glastonbury. Actually I had an ulterior motive, I subscribe to Fae magazine and had read the article about you and seen a cheeky looking little green creature on your shoulder. After a phone call to Lilliths I found out he had taken up temporary residence there, hence the trip. I had casually mentioned to my husband I might like to buy one of your friends so it was no surprise to him when I chose Sprout. He is adorable and has just informed me that he would like a playmate, I told him he may have to wait until my birthday in October I’m excited already. Luv Me and Sprout
Absolutely fabulous work Armorel. Each of the Faybles has character and life and makes me smile. I look forward to seeing more of your work as it comes. Should you ever begin selling online (or if I should make it overseas) I’ll be definitely trying to find a home for a Fayble of my own.
I think the Faybles are amazing! I too do some sculpting in my spare time, but I was curious to know what materials you use (especially the clay – if that is what it is – and what you use for structure/skeleton) if you wouldn’t mind sharing such a secret… 😉
Either way, I would love to one day be able to have one of my own! I collect BJDolls, and I am sure a Fayble would have much fun with them, as well as in my garden with my cat! 😀
You are truly a gifted lady. I will certainly keep an eye out on your website for future updates on your career – which I envisage being VERY successful. Thanks to your mum Susan in Marazion Gig Bar last night for showing me your work in her mag. xx
Ever since I can remember I have been fascinated by the illustrated documentation of new found creatures from far off lands. By the time I got here all earthly worlds had been discoverd…but everyone is a gate keeper to much more. My inspiration is rooted in the natural history of the earths biology, I have a huge interest in how plants and animals function and co exist.
My drawings and sculptures are small depictions of my world which runs alongside and in and out of my everyday existence(or maybe its the other way around!) I was fortunate to have a very open minded upbringing, and my life was constantly enriched with new concepts ideas and great books. I would often sit on my own for hours in the garden and travel far into a land where any thing was possible and where I thought i had only been a few minutes. A lot of what I learnt there I use in my everyday adult life. To be in touch with the faerie realm in adulthood is a gift. Art along side music is the best way to travel through faerie. It is as delicate as inspiration itself and has to be cared for by using it everyday. It is intense but soo life enhancing to see and feel soo much all of the time.
As with inspiration once you know where to find it ..it is everywhere! My work is an expression of my world of which I feel is neither completely in everyday reality nor completely in faerie… I have attempted to express through texture colour personality emotion and character. With all my sculptures I feel new emotions as if they have grown from within me. I hope that the creatures who have been expressed from my world bring something new to everyone…but strangely you may feel as if you have already met!
